Tours are just the beginning…

While you can visit the trails at Reinstein Woods any day from sunrise to sunset, a guided experience can enhance your enjoyment of this beautiful natural setting.

Seasonal Programs

Educator Workshops

One of the programs that Friends of Reinstein Woods directly supports is workshops to help teachers incorporate the environment into their classroom. Trained educators share nationally recognized, standards-based curricula to help teachers better understand their own local environment. Teachers become comfortable using place-based education methods to make their students more college and career ready. These interdisciplinary programs are targeted at Pre-K through high school teachers. Workshops and schoolyard habitat consultations also can be done at an individual school upon request. For more information about educator workshops, contact Reinstein Woods at 716-683-5959.
