Reinstein Woods is partnering with the Omega Mentoring Program and Erie County to offer a chance for you to connect with environmental resources! The event will feature a variety of vendors offering resources related to saving energy, green transportation, and more. Visitors can view a variety of electric vehicles (EVs) and talk to EV owners.
There will be a scavenger hunt for kids and free samples of vegan food (while supplies last). Massachusetts Avenue Project’s mobile market will also be on site.
Kids and adults can make a reusable bag out of a t-shirt (bring your favorite oldy or use one that we provide!). Visitors can enter to win a door prize.
Recycling Opportunities:
Bring used household batteries (sizes AAAA to D, 9-volt) for recycling. Leveling the Playing Field will also be accepting donations of gently used sports equipment for distribution in the local community. See the list of items on their website.

The Omega Mentoring Program is an organization of committed volunteers and mentors who inspire and motivate at-risk youth toward college through one-on-one mentoring. The teens in this program are helping with the event.
