The NYS Department of Environmental Conservation and Friends of Reinstein Woods invite you to explore outdoor recreation and even learn a new outdoor skill! Part of New York State’s Outdoor Day celebration, activities will include:
- hoverball archery
- BioBlitz! Including plants, birds and animal signs walks
- birding boardwalk
- face painting
- geocaching
- Camping demonstration and Leave No Trace scavenger hunt
At 1:30 PM there will be a BioBlitz closing ceremony, where you can learn what plants, animals and other living creatures have been seen at Reinstein Woods this month!
